While the Alta Center's poured-in-place concrete structure was under construction, the developer chose to enlist SGPA Architects to enhance the 23,000 square meter, five-story shopping center. As design consultant, I worked with Design Principal, David Janes, in providing the atrium's form and finishes, floor patterns, atrium skylight screen protection, escalator and bridge designs, a media entertainment pod for image projections, entry vestibule, and exterior color recommendations.
