Set in one of the four quadrants of the town square, as normalization of the correctional center, the chapel becomes both a spiritual and physical focus in the daily activities of the residents. Both the berm and the building's form suggest a hill, a symbol for a spiritual plateau. The chapel offers flexibility for both worship, activities, and entertainment. The construction system is reinforced concrete retaining walls, buttresses and steel bar joists
