Liturgical Furniture St. Mary's Catholic Church

The Altar - Four great legs, like tree trunks springing upward from seed, wed and form the plane that represents the earth. Transparent and edged in radiance, the plane of glass suggests the glory of heaven. The two become one in the table where Heaven meets Earth.
The Ambo - Four legs, like gospel makers, bear a cross-shaped podium of bronze. The lectionary is placed on display within the support of the podium as witness to God as Word.
The Tabernacle - Here the tabernacle is the lamp, and the Blessed Sacrament, Jesus, is “the light of the world.” (John 8:12) It is made strong and solid and sits on a lamp-stand.
