Maihama, today called Ikspiari, was designed as a three-block thematic five-star hotel and thematic retail complex outside of Tokyo Disneyland. My responsibility was to assist in the exterior design that complimented the retail component with similar rich detailing. The complex is adjoined by a Disney rail station that connects to Tokyo Disneyland.
