Projecting from the back sanctuary wall, the Cross is a Canyon Live Oak. The tree's trunk is split down the middle from top to bottom, reminiscent of the torn sanctuary curtain in Luke's Passion narrative. There are four large metal nails embedded into the cross: one on each of the branches and two at the foot of the cross.
Suspended from the ceiling, the Corpus figure is made of bronze and gold-plated wire mesh.
Also suspended from the ceiling is an abstract sculpture that symbolizes the Holy Spirit as dove, flame, and breath of God. Composed of translucent fiberglass, its shape suggests the wings and body of a dove or flames reaching upwards. The etched fiberglass seems to flutter, giving a sense of the breath of God.
